Athlone Town 2-2 Finn Harps
Finn Harps, with the assistance of referee Sean Grant, came from 2-0 down to steal a share of the spoils via a 93rd minute penalty. Athlone had 2 shouts for their own penalty ignored by the blatantly bias referee.
Former “Fans Favourite” Ian Rossiter lined out for the Harps with the echo of “Hoof” ringing around Lissywollen any time he touched the ball. It should be noted that Harps fans also joined in the chorus to make their feelings known!
